My heart, O God, is steadfast;
I will sing and make music with all my soul.
Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of You among the peoples.
For great is Your love, higher than the heavens;
Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let Your glory be over all the earth.
Psalm 108:1-5
This summer, I encourage you to take time.
Take time to enjoy your loved ones and the beauty of God's creation.
Set aside time for silence, for reflection, and to receive wisdom and guidance from God.
Call an old friend and visit someone who lives alone.
Play board games and go for walks with your children.
Do those things that are important and meaningful but for which there's never time.
Let us make time for the people and things that matter most.
Be still and know that I am God.
Psalm 46:10
Have a blessed summer!
